The day chosen was june 30, 1960.On this occasion, Grand Kallé and the African Jazz had been invited to celebrate this historical day. On january 27, 1960, they played at Plaza Hotel in Brussels two lengendary titles : “Indépendance cha cha” and “Table ronde” .
